This scenic trail winds along the river that goes all through town.


Pilot Butte (10 min drive)
Drive or hike to the top of this extinct volcano for panoramic views of Bend and the Cascades.


Lava River Caves (20 min drive)
The longest continuous lava tube in Oregon. Reservation required.


Smith Rock State Park (40 min drive)
Incredible rock formations and hiking trails—it’s like Oregon’s mini Grand Canyon.

Boutiques, bookstores, and souvenir shops. (Also the location of our wedding!)
